The Flyers way

More than basketball.

We are building confident players, supportive teams and a club where everyone feels they belong.

Our culture

How we show up.

The standards that shape every training session, game day and conversation around the club.

01

Everyone belongs

Different ages, backgrounds, abilities and ambitions — one Flyers community.

02

Work with purpose

We train with energy, listen to our coaches and help each other improve.

03

Respect the game

We respect teammates, opponents, officials, volunteers and every venue we visit.

04

Enjoy the journey

Progress matters, but so do friendships, laughter and memories made together.

Player standards

Ready. Respectful. Together.

Simple habits help every player train safely, compete well and contribute positively to the whole club.

01

At training

  • Say hello to your teammates and coaches when you arrive.
  • Be ready to listen, work and support the people around you.
  • Earbuds and headphones must not be worn on court.
  • Remove all jewellery before stepping onto the court.
02

On game day

  • Arrive 45 minutes before your game, ready to prepare with the team.
  • If yours is the first game, arrive 60 minutes before tip-off and help set up the court.
  • All players are expected to stay after their game and leave the team area tidy.
  • If yours is the final game, every player stays to help clear the court.

Training night checklist

Pack. Check. Play.

Bring these essentials to every Flyers training session so you are ready to get the most from the evening.

  • Playing or training kit
  • Water bottle
  • Basketball
  • Post-training snack
  • Towel

One club. Every level.

Players can arrive as complete beginners or experienced competitors. We meet them where they are and help them take the next positive step.

Parents, coaches and volunteers all play a part in creating a safe, ambitious and welcoming environment.
